Dr. George White is an Education and Management Consultant and Executive Coach with over three decades of experience at Lehigh University, where he served as Professor of Educational Leadership and the inaugural Managing Director of Student Access and Success.
As Managing Director, Dr. White designed and implemented a comprehensive suite of university-wide strategies addressing recruitment and admission, financial aid, student life, academic coaching and advisement, and postgraduate support — all focused on the needs of first-generation and low-income students.
He served as Director of the Educational Leadership program and was instrumental in creating Lehigh's International School Leadership program, preparing principals and superintendents for international schools across the globe. He is the founding Director of the Center for Developing Urban Educational Leaders — a program dedicated to the research and practice of effective preparation and support of principals in high-need urban communities.
A nationally and internationally recognized consultant, Dr. White has worked with over 100 schools, non-profit organizations, and government agencies on organizational development, change leadership, and strategic planning. He is a Class of '61 Endowed Professor at Lehigh University and served as the Iacocca Professor of Education from 2012 to 2017.
